Client: UK Tech-Fest
Summary: UK Tech-Fest is an annual technical-metal music festival in England centred around musical innovation, creativity and diversity. From 2013-2019 they commissioned me to design the festival line-up t-shirt, sold at the merch store to raise money for the festival.
Each year they required an original and appealing design that evoked a visual association with technical metal and complemented the festival’s branding. So I developed a unique, complex illustration style and integrated it with a restricted 3 colour palette and different surrealism-inspired theme for each year. This solution proved to be successful as the line-up t-shirts have almost sold out every year. Due to this popularity, they also asked me to design zip-up hoodies.

Client: Technocalypse
Summary: Technocalypse is an underground electronic music artist from Canberra, Australia that specialises in dark-progressive psytrance. His evil and twisted tunes take listeners on groove-laden psychedelic journeys deep in the forest at festivals around the country.
The client wanted a logo that encapsulated his music and brand which could be used to create an effective identity with a concentration on promotion. I presented three distinguished concepts, each contained a combination mark with a unique tailor-made typeface accompanied by a look and feel that demonstrated applications to promotional ideas. The client was impressed and decided to use two of the combination marks, using one for dark-progressive psytrance and the other for more experimental music.
